Last year I was lucky enough to take part in Den of Eek, run by the lovely people at Den of Geek. This was a live evening with twelve authors (3 of us from a competition Den of Geek ran, the others established writers) reading aloud their works of horror written specifically for the event in aid of the Geeks vs Cancer appeal.

I have a new title out today. It has been previously published in the Wittegen Press Giveaway Games Anthologies, but because it is part of an existing published book series (Vampires: The New Age), it is also now available stand alone.

It's a novelette (~12k wds), so a nice quick read full of excitement and action.

My husband and I watched a film last night called "The Storm Warriors". It's a Chinese epic martial arts movie and it is beautifully made. The sets are stunning, the fight scenes amazing and the special effects are superb, however, it's not a very good film.

• Firstly, it's a sequel and totally fails to reintroduce the characters.
